This WAAS- enabled GPS receiver locates your position quickly and precisely and can maintain your position in heavy tree cover or deep canyons. Reading your maps is clear and easy on the 1.7 x 1.3 inch color screen, and with a battery life of 14 hours, the eTrex Venture HC will keep you trekking.
While some handheld GPS receivers can be complicated to use, the eTrex Venture HC utilizes an easy to use menu that lets you create and view up to 500 waypoints, save and view up to 10 track logs, and easily access setup features. The device features 24MB of internal memory and a detail basemap so you can easily load your routes and waypoints from the MapSource Trip and Waypoint Manager, which is included.
